***CUSTOMER BEWARE DO NOT USE*** Yesterday I took my 2017 Chevy Tahoe to this location, because there seemed to be a transmission issue; as it suddenly started demonstrate issues with the Transmission gears without warning. As a resident, I figured I would support local a local business so it took my vehicle to this location and spoke with John, the owner, and explained the issues I was having. He took it for a drive and put it on one of their lifts. Shortly there after, he explained to me one of the transmission lines had a small leak, which caused me to now have a major transmission malfunction, which was going to cost me at minimum $4,000.00 (Trans rebuild) - and Max $5,000.00 (New trans). I Explained I would get a few estimates and get back to him. I took my vehicle to Apple Chevrolet in Orland Park and it was the exact opposite!!!!! My vehicle showed no signs of a leak, and although there was an issue with the transmission, it was not major. The cost to fix it at Apple Chevrolet was just under 1,000.00. It’s sad you can’t shop locally. Perhaps that’s why there are barely any businesses in town anymore. I’m sure I was not the first person this was done to, and I won’t be the last. If businesses would just be honest and fair, that would go much farther than taking advantage of its customers. I’m sure this place won’t be in business for long. I was going to go back there and let John know how disappointed I was, but I just did not feel the business was not worth my time: given what they tried to do. Besides this review will go much farther. When this place is out of business, they should think of all the customers they took advantage of, then ask themselves was it worth it!!!!! Mac
